Default 86 front swaybar bushing size?

It's been suggested to me that my front sway bar bushings could be the culprit for a rather loud *squeak* coming from the front left side of my '86 whenever I go over dips / speedbumps. While I still have to get under the car and take a look to see what condition they're in, I'm a tad confused as to which ones I'm supposed to get as replacements (if they need to be replaced). Ecklers has 22mm and 24mm sets, and Mid-America has 24mm, 26mm, and 30mm sets....

Just looking for a stock replacement, really, but seeing as they're all the same price would there be any advantage to getting one over the other?

What suspension option do you have? You need the set to match the swaybar size.

Spray some lube all over the sway bar bushings and see if the noise goes away temporarily.I had the same problem with my 86 years back, one of the sleeves and bushings came loose and made a loud squeaking noise over bumps and bad roads. Some spray lubed quiet it down for a day or so until I got it fixed.Helps to narrow the problem down sometimes as well.

I have been getting a repeating squeak from the front drivers side sway bar bushing after installing poly bushings 2 years ago. I've tried different kinds of grease, but the squeak would always return, but only on that side. This winter I pulled the sway bar to change the rack & pinion assy., and discovered that the sway bar is pitted where it rides in that bushing. The other side is smooth. I sanded it and regreased it, but I may need a new bar for a perminant fix.
