'87 headlight motor
The right side headlight motor hasn't worked since November. Wiring fine to the plug. What it does (did) was close fine, but not open. Stayed home today and thought I'd finally take a look beings how I noticed there's an auto electric place in town. Been draging my feet beings how if I can't fix it, I'm screwed since this car is a daily driver. Anyway, took it appart, knowing nothing about it I didn't see anything obvious the matter. Sanded off the commutater since it was all black. Tried to scrape off the contacts a little. Plugged it in, same thing. Runs one way, not the other. Ran it down to the auto electric place which wouldn't touch it of course. So, I pretty much decided to get one off that guy on ebay so the car wouldn't have to be down for who knows how long. Put the thing back to gether, plugged in the motor, and now it opens but not close...just the opposite as before.

WTF did I do?? Not that it matters much. Going to try to aquire a replacement motor anyway.
