Been smelling coolant on the drivers side and my low coolant light came on the last time I had the vette out. Car has 23K miles...L98 auto of course. Got under and took these pics. Can you tell me what you think it is? In addition, it appears my oil sensor or oil filter is leaking a small amount as well.
Under the car under around cylinders 5 and 7:
Again...
Another (showing oil or coolant??)

Under the hood between #5 and #7:
This is the only place I can see anything that is wet at all...the water pump weep is bone dry as well it seems. Looked under, on top, up front, etc.
It looks like a rear intake manifold leak which is a common problem on the L98's. Look at the rear of the intake manifold and around the rear intake bolts to see if there are any wet spots.
It should look bone dry, not greasy or wet. You can also spray some "simple green" then hose it off and let dry. Drive it for a day and take another look, you'll be able to see where the leak is coming from.
oil leak most likely, can't tell from pics...taste is most accurate(really, and it won't kill you, especially if you know how to spit--you ate worse at mcD )...sweetish is anti, oil is just plain bad.
run your finger under edge of rocker cover for oil, pcv grommets shrink/harden with maturity (look real close and wiggle it)...if neither of those,TRY to look at slanted portion of block below cylinder head to see if intake mfld is leaker.
consider just a occasional bath if its not a big leak, kinda like that other american icon
i don't use fram either because of bad press (print kind), but?
