86 Digital Dash ground question
Greetings all;
First off, I'd like to thank you all for helping me with my steering column rebuild on my 86. I had few problems, other than time to get it done. I'm still not complete, but almost. Just have to put back the signal switch, canceling cam, bearing races and such. Anyway, thanks much.
On to the next problem. My dash won't light up, but it works. And the signal indicators are lit solid. This smells like a bad ground. Does anyone know where the ground ends up for the dash on the engine block? Or, can someone point me to where this information might be in the manual? I'd like to clean up the usual suspect areas before I send the dash out for repair, but I can't find the ground locations. Thanks for any help.
