Targa Mufflers vs. Muffler Elliminators
Ok, I know there are alot of you out there that have one or the other. Which will give me a better tone and not require earplugs. Looks like the pricing for both are about the same. Any HP advantages either way?? Thanks for your input. :cheers:

I just got my muffler elims today and I think they sound like Flowmasters. They are not as loud as some made it seem. Maybe this is just my own individual experiance. :yesnod:

Im tossing the same thing up, elims or turbo mufflers... I think I'm going with the elims myself... just hope they arent to loud for the wife.

I think it depends on who you talk to and what they think is loud I have read on this forum that the elliminators are not loud never run them but I do have the targa mufflers and they sounded really good on the inside but that was with stock manifold and cat I now have headers and no cat with the targa mufflers and everyone tells me how good my car sounds but when you are on the inside resonance is really bad don't even think about listening to the radio I think this winter I will change to something else tired of the noise I installed a cross over pipe ( balance tube ) it helped a little but boy I get a lot of comments about the sound wish i could get rid of the resonance and keep the sound????????? Ive had both and the targas sound better. the targas sound like a nascar when youre on it but cruising around theres a little resanence but not to bad.
