Default C-beam Crazy

Yesterday I asked about jacking up the rear to aline it with the c beam -- Im dumb--As soon as I crawled under the car last nite it hit me that the rear dosnt move up and down--Oh well On a different note my service manual says on one page to get the c-beam up there then move it to the right and put the drive shaft in. In a nother section it says to put in the c-beam completely and then the shaft, witch is the way Id like to do it so the sealer dosnt dry out or get all rubbed off. Does any one know the right way to do this?? Thanks for any help --Walter

I've done this a couple times and always put the C-beam completely in before the drive shaft.
