I have a 1986 corvette coupe with 64000 miles and have owned it for 8 years. This winter I removed the engine and rebuilt/preformanced it.we installed a Crane cam #2040, ram air, 52mm throttle body, large eldlebrock intake tube's, 30lb/hr injectors, ajustable fuel reg and converted over to roller rockers. Ever since we started the engine the drivers side bank has had a ticking noise (which was never there before)however, when the engine is cold it is quiet but once it gets to about 158 degrees the ticking noise shows up and gets worse the hotter the engine gets.I have had two service shops look at this problem and both shops have not come up with the source even after the $2000.00 in bills . The lifters have been adjusted properly, the oil pressure is great and I had the cam tested and it is fine then I removed all lifters from the engine and installed all new lifters again thinking I had A faulty lifter out of the box but neither of these attempts fixed the noise. The noise seems to be comming from the drivers side head #3 intake or exaust not sure but that is as close to the exact location as I get
Has anybody experienced this this before ...Your help in this matter would be very much appreiciated
Thank you

Injectors have a coil that is pulsed by the ECM and the magnetic field of this coil lifts a valve, called a ,"pintle", and this provides gasoline under pressure to the nozzle on the end of the injector. The pintles normally make a clicking noise and one of yours just got louder. Clicking noise from the injectors is normal.

My 93 LT1 is running rough and two of the injectors are clicking alot louder than the others. Does that mean that they are somehow going bad?
