Default Name that line....

I found a broken line??? Its located under the alt on the driver side, its a metal line bolted the the frame (thin) then turns to a rubber hose & runs up front to a can looking thing in the front corner under my drivers head light. What the heck is this???
Thanks

Sounds like a vacuum hose that runs to your charcoal canister/filter(can-like part, if metal). Have you noticed any warning lights, smells of gas inside the car, or changes in the way the engine runs?- Just trying to help isolate what may be going on.

It is a the purge line that runs from the Fuel Tank to the Canister.. Rubber hose should be fine as a patch between the broken areas

you may want to check the canister to be sure it is not bad. My Canister was bad.. not sure when it went bad but carcoal was coming out the top and it was not holding vacuum anymore
