Been following some threads on front hubs for the later C4's and I have read the TechTip about using Firebird hubs but haven't seen much on what to do for the earlier C4's
Teh LF hub on my 87 is much worse than the RF so after getting my new rack and tie rod ends in, I need to do hubs next.
What's a recommended brand for the earlier hubs considering that this is my autocross/track car? I can get AC Delco hubs at cost plus 10% at my shop so is this the way to go???
I think that the hubs from AutoZone are Timken bearings. Timken has been around for a long time (they used to be the major supplier for bearing for railroad cars) and unless they have moved their production offshore, that may be an option.
I use the 94 firebird hubs on my 85 I just remove the anti lock stuff the 85 does not have anti lock. the only thing different is the bolts go in the other way on the firebird hubs.
