1990 Hypertech Thermo Master Power Chip With Automatic Transmission

Has anyone noticed a big difference when using a Thermo Master Power Chip. About 5 years age I had a shop install one and some how they managed to install the chip backwords frying the chip. I never had a chance to test it. is there anything I can do with my broken chip because I still have it.

The torque converter locks up earlier, fans turn on earlier, and supposedy has more advance in it. I noticed 0 seat of the pants difference. Youre better off having one of the tuners here burn you a custom chip for your car.

The chip is a SN# 173 402 Hypertech(c) '90
pt# 120 382

When the chip was in the car it was puking black smoke. and stoped when the chip was removed.

I have not tryed to re install the chip in about about 11 years.
