Understand that this remark is made based on what I currently
know after reading information from other people.

I do not have first hand experience with either head.

If the application was really important, I'd buy both to examine,
test and decide for myself..

Since we are talking about Vortec heads, I'll add information here
that I compiled for a different thread so it can be found together
with the other L31 Vortec material that already appears above.

I think they're standard SBC...what is that? 7.200"? Plus/minus GM slop?

trying to figure how chevrolet measures their push rods. GM #10241740 push rods specs show overall length as 7.122 but using a caliper actuall end to end is 7.195
