Default Remote electric water pump installation

Has anyone installed an electric water pump in a remote location? I'm considering one behind the motor on the frame rail. Any pictures of your installation?

Also is there a flow path diagram of the coolant flow through an L98 motor somewhere on the internet?

I haven't heard of anyone running a set-up like this. Regarding coolant flow, all you really need to know is that the bottom radiator hose is the coolant return path from the radiator. I think you can figure it from there. Sounds interesting. What kind of pump are you considering and what's the reason for the remote set-up?

BUMP cuz' I'm interested as well.

I like this idea for maintenance reasons - for example the M3 I used to have had a remote canister for the oil filter, made changing the filter a snap and no mess.

Looking at a CSR electric remote water pump.

Think I have an electric power steering pump worked out.

Mounting the alternator on the rear perhaps.

Trying to strip all belts off the motor, and have it clean with just a harmonic balancer. Something different.

Probably not for oil, no, but I would think the remote water pump would not be too difficult?
