93 Steering column loose
Just picked up a 93 and it has a loose steering column. I had the same problem in an older chevy and it was in the tilt steering bolts and I was able to fix this myself. This is the exact same problem but it has an airbag and I've never taken one out before. Is this something I can do myself or do I need a professional?

Hey I have that same problem with my 92, and I am scared of the airbag as well so I haven't touched it yet. But other then the airbag it should be pretty easy to fix you just need a steering wheel lock plate remover and a steering wheel puller and you have to tighten that one loose bolt.

sometimes its the pins. sometimes the spring. sometimes the knuckle. thats why there never isnt a definite answer to this one. Only way to know which is your problem is to tear it apart.
Btw the airbag is so easy to remove. 2 screws and unplug.
