93 LT1 Code 43

I've got an intermittant Code 43 coming in on my 93 LT1. I've just picked up this car so I don't have a manual for it. I'm sure it is somewhat similar to my 86 but was wandering if anyone has run into this problem before and if someone can send me the troubleshooting chart for this code. Other than that the engine runs great and pulls really strong.

Thanks but I already knew what the code meant. I should have stated that in my original post. I need the troubleshoot procedures from the helms manual if anybody has it.

Same problem here last summer - intermittent 43's. Got under the car and cleaned the connectors on each knock sensor and no more 43.

Thanks, good to see this might be a normal problem. I'll get under there and get them cleaned up.

Mine did the same thing due to a leaking oil pan gasket. Got oil and grime on the sensor contacts. I replaced the pan gasket, cleaned off the sensor terminals and cleared the ECM's codes. Haven't seen Code 43 sense, knock on wood!
