injector trouble?
I have a 91 L98 6 spd. w/35k miles, sits most of the time. It surges and stumbles in closed loop. under load runs great, in open loop runs and idles great. Will stall sometimes than hard to start.(flood mode?) Replaced dist. module, ecm & mem cal, map. tried another O2 senser, temp. senser. cleaned throtle plate and isc motor. ck'd egr( no leaks). ran can of injector cleaner through fuel rail. then ck'd restance on injectors. 3 times at different temps. 4 were consistent at 15.5-16 ohms, 2 @ 5.5 (1 stayed @ 5.5 at all temps.). the rest were anywhere in between. The book says only 1 ohm diff. between all injectors. Did I get a bad batch of fact. injectors? maybe from sitting? Saw a tread on Ford injectors does anyone have the part#s and the best place to buy them? how do they fit? "help" cliffsurfs
