Default Heads combo

Hello m8s.

What heads would you recomend with this combo.
355
CC503 cam
LT1 intake.
Heders
3" exhaust

Car is a -90 six speed.
(car will not need to pass emission)

I looked at the following heads.

Edelbrock Performer RPM
Canfield ( JEGS ) alu heads
And Trickflow 23 heads.

What I like with the Edelbrock Performer RPM is that its a 170 intake port. What I been told is that 170cc intake port volume providing greater torque down low especially with a non-stroker engine.

Please let me know what you think.

Regards

If your thinking about Trickflow heads. I have a BRAND NEW set that are for sale. I have even had them flow benched. I have seen the Edelbrocks on the bench, They are horrible. To each is own, but if I was going with a setup like yours, I would want a set of heads that flowed well. My heads were $1235 US New. You can make me an offer.

I can vouch for the TFS 23 heads. Mine is a 350 Xfire with a retro-fit roller cam and there is absolutely no loss of low end torque. Last dyno run had it at 347rwtq @ 3800rpm. I'm using 11" ZR-1 wheels and breaks tires loose in second.

So the Edelbrock Performer RPM heads did not flow god you say?

88BlackZ-51 Do you have a partnumber on your heads?

I would spend a little more than the Edelbrocks and go for the trickflows, that engine will want to spin. Dont think those 170's will keep up.
