Default PP2 help

For the life of me I can't remember how to run this friggin program. I used to have it up last year but didn't use it much. Now after a new computer and a new download ( I-PP2Win2.35.exe) whenever I try to put in a chip and use setting 27sf512 (cuz that's what it says on the chip) and it takes forever to blank check and verify device.

When I select move device to buffer and save buffer, when I open it up in Tuner Pro with a 6E.xdf definition file, it shows crazy numbers like base timing at 90 degrees and stuff.

Do I have incompatable versions of software or what am I missing here? I even tried to load an old .bin file onto a blank chip and it's giving me different values than my old .bin file.

I'm about to lose my mind. Please help.

Sounds like a software conflict.

I used to use I-PP2Win2.00 . Maybe it's because I have an upgraded version of that and an upgraded version of Tuner Pro .

Could it be that since tuner pro only wants .xdf files that I'm not finding the correct ones?

Would using 6E (for my 89) while looking at a .bin for an 87 result in weird numbers. Maybe I need to find a .ecu or .xdf file for an 87?

Yes, the $6E is 1989 code, 1987 used $32B.

Is this the correct place to ask for such a file? Or is that a big no no?

If you have that file, could you post it?

Homer click on start run, regedit, click on find search for EPROM. Find folder delete it. close that out the C:\program files \eprom delete folder from there. reboot computer then reinstall that might fix you up

Hehe, I am not sure if for some reason I'm not doing things in the correct order or what it is. I have rarely used it but when reading things off his chip I'm getting crazy readings like 90 * base timing.

Is there a chance that the chip could have gone bad? Like maybe had contact with a magnet or somtehing like that?
