Hello.I install intercooled procharger D1-SC on my Vette LT-1 engine.Compression is 9.0 /1 ,42 injectors, ported heads, new Clevite bearing & rings. When I put full throttle may be two or three times during 5-10 minutes one by one ,I have some oil about oil gauge tube,
oil filling cup ,etc.I think something is rong with crank ventilation, but I made it like procharger people tell me to connect ventilation to the front of k&n air filter. What is wrong with my car?
Thank you.Alexander.Russia.
no matter what condition your engine is in your going to get blow by from a boosted engine.......more from a tired engine and less from a new engine......oil in your valve cover vents is normal, just keep them clean and deal with it...........some of the guys on the forum don't agree with the venting the crankcase through the intercooler by way of the supercharger air filter...........all of the oil is coating the inside of tubing and intercooler...........personaly I have a new engine and three vents on my valve covers....two of which are unrestricted........just hoses, baffled of course.
