Default 88 digital dash

I have messed up my dash and am lost. My center LCD was working fine with the exception of a couple of burnt out bulbs. I replaced these bulbs and apparently did not have the Lcd properly placed, when I reinstalled it. The LCD cracked when I tightened the screws down. Ok, I learned my lesson. I ordered a new center LCD and installed it today. It lights up like it should, but none of the guages give me a readout. No oil pressure, no oil temp., no engine temp., no volts , no fuel tank readout. I have had it out four times today just to try and figure out what I have done wrong. Nothing works. Anybody have any suggestions. I feel it must be something simple , but who knows what. Speedo and tach work fine. It is center LCD only. Thanks in advance for any help.

The LCD pane makes connection to the circuit board through some conductive flexible strips and these strips must be carefully aligned with the edge of the pane and the copper strips on the rear printed circuit board. You need to check the strip to make sure you didn't cut the strip when you damaged the first pane. Then inspect carefully with a 5X loupe, the conductors on the printed circuit board to see if you cracked the board or damaged any of the traces on the board. Now put out your hand.........come on, further out,.....thats it.......SMACK! Now don't do that again !
