Default Throttle Body Cleaning....

So I now have the chore of making my stock throttle body get me by with my 383 stroker 30 over bored superram motor.... Ought to be interesting... How do you clean this guy for maximum flow, and what about that whole using of a larger gasket... I also could port either the superram plenum or runners for later on I wont be going back in the motor anytime soon... Thoughts

Well, I used rubbing alcohol as well as gasoline to get that black stuff off the metal. I used alot of shop towels, and Q tips in the smaller holes. I used a razor blade at a slight angle to get the gaskets paper all off, being careful not to nick the alum, it is almost as soft as your face. When it was all shiny silver again - I bought a 52mm BBK Edelbrock TB. But have a very clean stock matching numbers TB just in case one day.
