Default MST sensor on DFI Gen 7....??????

I am in the process of finishing my Turbo Project, I am wiring in the DFI Gen 7 and have a question about the MST sensor which comes with the Fast Track wiring harness. where should this be put? I actually threaded it into the cylinder head on the drivers side initially thinking it looked like a coolant temp sensor while the motor was out of the car... removing it is very simple, but now knowing it is an MST (Manifold Temperature Sensor according to DFI) I am guessing it should be installed in the intake manifold? but where do I need to drill and tap a socket for it or can I epoxy it somewhere or do I need to even run it, can I leave it off? any help appreciated!

I have been running w/out it. I'm not sure where its purpose fits in with an ECT sensor and Intake Air Temperature sensor already present.

My only guess would be an intercooled package where the IAT is before the intercooler. The temp of the manifold would then be more closely related to the actual air temp going into the cylinders. I guess you could aso set it up this way on purpose to see the effectiveness of the intercooler. Or, maybe nitrous related. Again though, pure guess work on my part...
