Is there an easy way to vac. the radiator with out takeing the whole shroud off? Thanks guys
I just made up a tube for my shop vac that fits in the pass side access opening in the shroud. I used card board tube from Christmas wrapping paper. It is not as thorough as pulling everything apart, but then I have never had to pull it apart as this has worked well for me.
Yes, but this might be tough to follow. You need a cheap "shop vac".
Measure the size of the shop vac hose end. Go to Home Depot and get pvc pipe that reduces to 1". The 1" pipe should be 3 ft. long. Cut one end with a 45 degree angle. Connect to the shop vac. On the passenger side of the radiator, there is a 1 1/4" slot between the radiator and the A/C.
Vacuum that space out. I do every 3 to 5 months.
If you can follow the above, you've got one hell of an imagination.
