skip shift

I am ordering a new tune today from PCMFORLESS. One of the questions is if you would like to disable the skip shift?? I've seen this many times but never bothered looking into it probably because it doesnt affect my car. Isnt this something that only applies to manual transmissions? Yes I searched the forum first. They are also asking if I would like to disable the VATS. I have an aftermarket VIPER alarm the previous owner installed.

CAGS (skip shift) only applies to manual transmission.

Skip shift is on 6 speed only. Forces ship shift fron 1st to 4th at slow speeds.
