Default How do you idle it down?

I have a 85 and when I put my scan tool in the aldl it sends my idle to 1000rpm where do I go in the program to counter this I have already removed the 8.1 degrees of timing that is added dianostic mode but need to know where else to go.

From a post further down

Up is for 10K Mode. This is the same as putting a 10K Ohm resistor between A and B of your ALDL. It advances timing and fixes idle at 1K rpms.

The ECM has a setting in the calibration that usually adds timing in ALDL mode. You need to disable that or zero out the added timing. Its not in the Main SA tables.

I already went in the constants table and removed the 8.1 degrees of timing when in aldl mode but the idle still goes to 1k,I think I will contact tunercat and see what they come up with.

Thanks

You could also contact Craig Moates, In his ECM software he had disabled the 1k idle lock. He could probably tell you very easily where the address is and what to change the bit to.
