Carb / Intake ???

I am thinking about putting a carb on my 86 Vette and was wondering if anyone has done this succesfully without having to modifiy the hood on the car ???

If so what Carb and what intake did you use ???

Any information would be of great help.

I think steve1ph2 successfully converted recently. Search this forum for his posts and you should turn up most of what you need to know.

I have an '89 with a 780CFM Holley, but went with the Toledo Pro 4" high Rise. My '87 just received a Weiand Team G converted to C4SP FI (pics in "My Corvette Photos").
