Broke cam timing!
My camchain went broke this week. And why I don´t know.
The engine did 12.43 119mph. is a 383 stroker manuell trans. Is a 1992 Lt1
The cam timing was a new GM. So now i´m going for an electric waterpump and a new cam timing.
But what camtiming shall I use? I like compcam, but does it work with the optispark?

I don't believe there's any practical way to convert to a DR w/o converting to the later opti which will also require extending your cam pin to .620" and getting the later timing cover. A good DR set-up is the Cloyes 9-3145 but I'm sure CC probably makes a good one too. Also, if your cam went out of time, you'd better check for bent valves.
