When I sit in traffic for more than a few minutes, the car starts running rough. It sounds like it is almost flooding, I get going for awhile and it the car smooths out. It does idle a little rough and does not throw a code. Could it be my O2 sensors going south or do I have an injector going bad?
Time for a fuel pressure test would be my first thing.
I would check pressure (make sure its normal) and watch pressure after engine is turned off (drops). The main culprits are injectors, FPR, and fuel pump check valve (more tests needed). If these tests are o.k. I would test the circuit and look at tip of O2 sensor for contaminates. IMO. Sounds like your getting too much fuel at one time so the engine has to burn it up before it smooths out from your statment.
I think I found the problem, I have a grounding strap hanging down on the back drivers side of the body, right under the brake booster. Can someone tell me where the other end connects?
