Borla rd tip mufflers
I have a set of Borla mufflers with round inter-cooled tips. When I put them on a couple weeks ago I noticed that they really sit low. I mean there is like 2-3" clearance between the bumper and the top of the tips. I tried to bring them up some on the hangers but they only go up so far. Anyone else have these mufflers?

I have them. Good luck getting those perfectly mounted.
Round 1 - I had a corvette shop spend an hour of labor banging on them to get them mounted. They even made me 2 new brackets to hang them with.
Round 2 - I got a new rear y-pipe (old one rusted out)... so off came the perfectly centered mufflers. My buddy replaced them for me, so he said he spent a good 2-3 hours banging on them for a while to get them centered perfectly and hanging just right.
It's just a problem with how those paticular mufflers hang on the C4's I was told by the Corvette shop.
To fix it, just rig something up to get the correct height you want, you might need to modify the hangers on the mufflers or modify the hangers on the car to get it adjusted just right. its a PITA.
