I have a brand new reverse switch I bought for my 85 4+3 a year ago, but sold the tranny and upgraded--paid $25 for it--never been opened

Same with mine, bad back-up light switch. Located on the left side of the tranny, not too bad to get to. I got mine out with a double offset box wrench, changed it in about 10 mins, took longer to jack up the car.
Oh yea, they aren't cheap.
