I saw a chart comparing types and brands of cats years ago by thier flow rates. Anyone have this or can anyone recommend a type and part #? I know the RT metal matrix are good, anything comparable at a lower price? I have heard the Carsound are good too. I want 3" bullet type.

universal Carsound are the best bang for the buck, if you weld em in. Everything I've seen shows they are on par with a random tech (not sure about bullets though).
There's a few comparisons floating around but they are all only partial lists. And you really can't expect the same flow from different testers.
Thanks, is DTH the same as Dynatech?
For instance if I have a motor making 450-475FWHP, how much will I lose adding dual 3" metal matrix cats? I have heard only 2-3 RWHP, but I am not sure after reading the #s from your link?

The flow numbers won't tell you squat about what gains you'll get, or what they'll flow on the car. They only show you how restrictive the cats are compared to eachother. But keep in mind, if you get a 20% less restrictive cat, but the cat is only about 10% of the restriction in your intake+exhaust, then you've actually only made the whole thing 2% less restrictive.
That's why high flow throttle bodies are so overrated. They make up such a small part of the complete system.
