Well I contacted them about a kit for the LT1 and here is their answer

We have the hardware for the LT-1 and we are working on the
Engine
> management for it. The system will not be CARB approved, but is sold
for use
> in Hot Rods and would be for offroad only in pollution controlled
vehicles.
> We would have to develop the serpentine for your application as well.
The
> present kit costs $3250.00 Raw finish or 4200.00 polished and would
need
> your engine management and drive.
> Thanks for your interest.

I thought I would pass this on to everyone else.

kindof upsetting in only 1 way....its not CARB approved for us Cali boys. other than that the price is reasonable and the product itself is of great quality. Makes me want an LT1 car just to put one on it!

Default This is for L98 85-91

http://www.magnusonproducts.com/pr010.htm

The above link and photo is a unit that they are developing for earlier model V8s. This can be adapted to 85-91 TPIs. The intake is for only Vortec Heads and will use a HEI small distributor w/ remote coil. You will have to use an LS1 TB. They currently suggest you use Motec or DFI to run it. They are currently working on the snout lenght, belt configuration and throttle linkage (since it will be sitting backwards) for the C4 85-91 Corvette. They already have the snout lenght, belt configuration and throttle linkage for the 88-92 Camaro / Firebird done (more on the road and more potential customers). I am sure everyone will be waiting for the finished product and the final price. I would like to get my hands on a bare system (intake, blower and fuel rails as in the picture and do a little testing).

No this unit will not fit underneath the stock hood. You will need a high rise cowl hoods like the one above from toledo fiberglass (also an inside view of the hood). They have the same problem with the C5 magna chargers. You needed a new hood for the C5 kits to fit/work.

Here is a link to the blueprint on their web page. http://www.magnusonproducts.com/imag...-ON-ENGINE.jpg
I measured my intake, and to the best I can tell it is about 5.5 in. tall. Not sure how much, if any, free space is above the intake but that would be about 5.4 in. taller then what is already under there. That makes me wonder if even the above hoods would clear.
The tuning and emissions compliant part I am not to worried about as I believe I can get Alvin to tune it.
Then there is the drive issue which is not included. Im going to send an e-mail back and ask for more info. about that.
Once I have more info. I will post and let everyone know.

I measured my modified HSR that clears my stock hood.

Stock TPI
front 8"
rear 10"

Stock HSR
front 10"
rear 10"

My modified HSR
front 8.6" ( 22 cm )
rear 9.9" ( 25 cm )

My modified HSR has more hood clearance at the rear.

A 2" cowl should clear the magnusson.
