Dipsick Tube Question
Can someone tell me if there is a dipstick tube that extends from the bottom of the block into the pan (L-98).
I got my block back from the machine shop and they said there is not one but I seem to remember there was

Here's my stock l98 tube and stick that I replaced when I did my header install because it seeped oil at base where it looks like a previous owner squeezed it with pliers or something in what I'm guessing was an attempt to pull it.
As you can see, the tube extends into block 3- 1/2 inches and the stick when fully installed goes another 4-1/2 beyond that into the pan.
