Being a supplier to R-D Racing, Dave is as honest as a person can be, if you don't think business is tough, try working for yourself, getting vendors that will do a good job for you and stand behind their products.

Dave sell my pedal mount for me, he got it in Mid-America and has been great to his customers, I got a call from him one day asking me to drop ship a mount to a drag racer (wheelsup) that had his original one break, his customer care is outstanding, Dave was very concerned his customer would be able to race his next event.

I agree with the comments that the folks on the CF are very quick to judge vendors, and very slow to praise, lightenup guys, there a lot of Daves out there trying to make a living selling vette parts, I had no idea on the developement costs until I tried to design a new mount for the poor GM design. I now know for a fact there are at least 14 different configurations of C-4 Gas pedal asseblies from GM. I can only thank the guys at Mullikins Corvette Shop in South Carolina, Dave Mullikin had his yard guys doing the installations for me.

Remember guys, if you have a problem with someone go to them first and give thema chance to make it right, if they fail, too bad for them.

I have to chime in with my support and thanks to Dave at R-D. I emailed him with a question about my cross-frame, and a request to exchange my camber brace for a EWP version, and both he and his customer service rep responded within a days time. Knowing how busy he is, I think that is outstanding. IMO, anyone dealing with R-D can be assured of complete satisfaction.

Dave,

Sorry I got in so late on this one but I hope things get better for you ASAP!!

Let me run this one by "ya'll."

I bought one of RD's camber braces off a forum member (not directly from Dave). Had problems with the install an called him. "HE" answered and we went over the problems. He was working on a mod for my year (87) which was a little different than the other C4's.

He faxed me the info and then....

I never put it on!!! I was planning on selling the car so I just put it away in the garage, aka: the black hole.
Several years pass and we decide to keep the car (yes, I said several years!).

I call him up and tell him I've lost the instructions and mounting shims, etc.

He ships them to me AT NO COST!!!!! MY F**kup and he fixes it!!!

In my book, they don't come any better

Dave, you've got to hang in there brother!

I intend to order several other pieces soon.

Dave and R-Dracing is #1 in my book

Let us know if there's anything we can do?

Let me tell a story of how I met Dave and learned of his R&D Racing. We have a Corvette club here in the Charlotte area of NC. Dave was passing through on a customer service call. NOW remember Dave came from Missouri to NC on a customer sevice call to help with the installation of I think it was a S/T frame (roll bar) on a customer's Vette. There could not have been better service for that customer. We were having a club meeting and invited him to join us. What a nice guy! Later that year, Dave brought his tricked out C4 and personally delivered orders to us while racing with us in Sanford, NC. Dave took the time to instruct me on my first auto-cross event. My passion for auto-cross is directly related to Dave's instructions and technques which he shared with me. I have most of the products R&D Racing makes for a C4 and each product is better than I expected. I not only respect Dave as our best vendor, but I consider him to be a valued friend.
