Strange Sound?
Hi Everyone- I'm new to the forum and need your help. I have an AOD and when I start up the car, and "shift" (for lack of a better term) into drive (of course my foot is on the brake) I hear a very strange noise as I start to drive forward - some what like a creek of a squeeky door. I don't hear that noise any other time. The car seems to be in great condition other than that. Any advice?

I am going to guess that it's the ABS pump doing it's normal self check.
The sound is from the rear, lasts about 2 seconds? If so, that's it.
For future reference, we really need to know the year of your Corvette. It helps a lot.
