Top of the tank usually... Gas tank that is... If not there, who knows... Even if it is there, probably pretty bad shape... $30 or $40 at the corvette museum site and worth it to not have to drop the tank...
nOw for the second one!!!!!! It is in the left from frame cross member! There is a hole behind the sway bar that you can see down in. There is another hole to the same passage on the opisite side of the crossmember. Then inside the engine bay...behind the steering shaft down low there is another hole to the same passage. I had the best luck with a coat hanger that was "strategically" bent...and LOTS OF PATIENCE!!
I got about 95% of that one! It was harder to get to and was more dirty but it was all there and NOT GLUED IN!!!!
Dug it out of the hole in my frame.....in about 50 pieces! Took a couple of hours to tape it together. I also ordered a brand new build sheet and original window sticker from the National Corvette Museum.:D Nice touch for nice cars!  :chevy
