4 L 60 shift points

hello.I don t understand this is mechanical or electronic controlled tranny?My car is 1992 Vette with 4L60.I need to change shift points.I have cable from tranny to throttle body.Can I reprogramme it or I need to make somthing with governor?

In other words, there is no (software) "reprogramming" that can be done.

Playing with the TV cable adjustment, can easily cost you a transmission. Recalibrate (or reprogram, if you prefer) with the weights and springs of your governor. B&M, and probably others, sell governor kits with a selection of weighs and springs, just for that purpose.
