Lloyd doesvery good work and is fairly economical as far as porting work goes. He has a strong following in the F body network. I used a couple set of his heads and the cars are running very well. One is a 93 Fbody with a set of Dart 230's that we converted to reverse cooling, that car went 11 flat first pass without any additional chassis or engine tuning. I expect it to run into the high 10s with some chassis and additionl engine tuning. Another is waiting in the wings, its running now and very well I may add. I expect that car which is a street car with his heavily ported LT1 castings and a custom ground cam to run mid to high 11s easily.

We just did a LE2 package on a stock bottom end impala at our dyno day in ohio. The car did well over 400 thru a loose stall.
What really impressed me is Elliot personally called this guy on a few occasions to check up on everything.

I'm running a Lloyd Elliot/Brett Bauer combination (LE2 heads w/ matching Bauer cam).
This is in an automatic and I'm very frustrated at my lack of traction with a ~3000rpm stall Seriously, I can't hook up under 50mph on a hot day. If it's 60 degrees out then make it 60mph (on 3.07 gears).
Lloyd does great work and is a good guy. The Brett Bauer cam is a damn fine piece from 1500-6800rpm. Below 1500rpm will take some tuning skill due to some of the specs.
I would recommend at least shooting Lloyd an e-mail with details on exactly how you want your engine to perform.
For me, Lloyd did an excellent LT1 port job matched with LT4 valves and CompCams "beehive" springs which netted the very lightweight valvetrain I was looking for.
Follow his complete recommendation on parts and you'll do fine. I'll be sending him my LT4 heads when I'm ready to do a 396 combo.
