Help, my 89 vert won't idel when cold
For the past week my 1989 roadster that won't idel when I first start it. I have to keep my foot on the gas until it is warmed up. The car runs fine after warmed. Please help !!!

I would check the Idle Air Control motor first. The IAC seems to die faster than a lot of the other parts. One the IAC motor is out of the throttle body, you should be able to move the pintle in and out with your fingers. If it is frozen you need a new one. I once freed one up with some solvent, but the solvent then ate up the plastic gears inside.
Additionally, the idle air passages need regular cleaning to avoid getting plugged up.

Thanks for the comments, I was checking the fuel pressure and noticed that the wire on the O2 sensor is loose. I'll check the IAC now to and let you know what I find.
