Default Autometer Pillar Pod - Pics Please

Looking for some feedback on how the Autometer pillar pods intalls. How does it fit? How does it look?

Post a pic if you can, much appreciated.

The following install is on a non-C4, but I think it will serve
the purpose.

IIRC, the default is a single screw hole between the pods on
this dual-pod unit. The er, um, industrial-weight fasteners on
the upper edge were added out of concern that the default single
fastener would not be substantial enough to keep the pods in
place in some circumstances. At some point I will replace those
with others that have a less prominent head.

As supplied, the unit fit the contours of the column well and did not
require anything in the way of modification in my non-C4 application.

I had a 2 gauge setup on my '85 and it installed via one screw in the middle, which screwed into the factory location that holds the upper window-frame plastic in place. Couldn't be easier..

I've noticed that newer gauges seem to be built in such a way that
they are much lighter now, but my old school oil temp gauges are kind
of weighty.

I added fasteners out of concern that the pod could inflict a lot of
blunt trauma swinging at the ends of the wires if it came loose in an
incident.

Wish I had pics of mine I do somewhere on one of my pc's... I attached the dual pod using black push retainers so it's a neat install.

I choose the lunar series gauges by autometer, my only regret is they glow green like indiglow... but they look awesome during the day..
