Foaming transmission fluid

Any else ever have this happen? I thought it was the front seal leaking. Tranny shop said it was getting hot and foaming the fluid causing it to spill out the over flow.

Sometimes this is caused by overfilling.

My power steering does this too with M1 atf, and those really can't be overfilled. I'm going with overheating.

Mine was foaming when I was running on road courses. To much RPM for to long - spinning the pump at the high speed caused foaming. Some solve the problem with a larger pulley - slowing down the pump. I sent my pump off to some company in Michigan that reworked the pump to make it lower volume - because I typically run high RPM. This solved the problem. JEGS now offers a low volume pump for a little over 100 bucks - pretty good deal if you ask me!
