Spring Blues
I have a '94 vette. I know there is more than one suspension type and I'm not sure how to tell you which I have, other than it's a coupe.
Anyways, I have a dead front spring. Sounds like this isn't uncommon.
I was originally going to just put it back stock, but I'm actually having trouble finding a stock spring. I posted here a while ago about this and pretty much decided to go stock.
But, I think I've changed my mind. I really don't want to go through this again, and after talking to some mechanics and suppliers it sounds like the stock spring isn't worth putting in. (considering I plan to keep the car till we're both older than dirt).
I want the ride height and everything to be as close to stock as possible. I was hoping some kind person might give me some suggestions.
What kind of coil overs have been used? What's the best? Are there coil overs with adjustable ride heights? Anyway, you get the idea.. I need some education.
Thanks,
Andy
