Car making a squeaking noise while driving
Just noticed this about an hour ago. While just getting off work I stopped by the store to grab some cokes and when leaving I started hearing a squeaking noise when accelerating. Sears told me I need new brakes but never noticed the noise until tonight. I pressed the E-brake all the way down and it sort of stopped not sure because it's raining like cats and dogs with hail mixed in. I guess she's telling me she needs more money.

There are sensors on the brake pads that cause a squeak when the linings are getting low. That is done to tell you to replace the pads before it is too late. It is a real easy diy job. Go back with ceramic pads and you will have no brake dust on your wheels and they should last darn near for ever.
