I just went though this(the front is in progress and lowered the rear)...go with the bolts from MAD. It was easier and almost as cheap as trying to find them. For instance, the bolts sold on ebay are cheap, but are threaded all they way up, and the MAD bolts are only threaded at the bottom, made alot easier getting those bolts in through the old bushings, and the lock nuts are good quality as well. If you plan on lowering the front as well, just get the kit from MAD. Thats my 2cents.

Here's a source for just the rear bolts. VB&P By the time you screw around trying to find suitable bolts locally, if you even can, you'll still pay about as much. Your stock bolts are a 14mm diameter approximately 9" long but would of course actually have the length in mm, if you were buying them. The replacements may be a 9/16" diameter but that is virtually the same and of no matter with matching nuts. I actually used 16mm bolts on mine that I removed in good condition from Kenworth rear suspension brackets. They still fit through the stock washers and I just had to ream out my poly bushings a little. They're actually over 11" long so I could set it on the tires if I wanted to! But they were free. I bought a new pair of top grade nuts w/ nylon locks so my total cost to lower the rear was under $4.00.

Are these bolts longer than the one MAD provides?

I think most of the standard kits are going to be 10" like those at the top of the page in the link I provided. If you look on down the page though, they offer up to 12" I don't think that anything but a pure track car would ever need anything that long. Mine are about 11 1/2" and could be much shorter for my purposes. But since they were freebies, I'm not complaining.

Just saw that. 60 bucks for a pair! The reason I was asking is because I'm not satisfied with my rear since the bolts I currently have now with 2 threads left on the ends.. the drivers side rear sits higher than the passenger side rear. I don't want to go any lower. As of now I can fit 2-3 fingers in all 3 corners except for the passenger rear which is 2 fingers. I was thinking of bumping that side up a notch first and see what happens.
