Blessed be the Car Alarm
I am so thankful for my car alarm... This morning at 5:30am, i suddenly hear a loud beeping, i thought it was coming from a neighbors alarm, but the more i listened, I realized immediately this sounds like my alarm... I jumped up immediately ran outside and saw two fellows running off in the distance down the alley. I looked around abit on my car; all appears well.. Im very happy that my alarm just saved anything from being stolen, so i give her a nice pat, and say good girl,, hahaa... 
After going back inside,,, im really pissed off in general about thieves, so i do call the police and let them know that theres two crooks running around my area with a bar in one of their hands..... (probably didnt help much). I eventually get back to sleep for an hour... this morning, i find that my roomate is not so lucky as I,,, they managed to break in his 93 rx7. He has several things gone, very nice radar detector, radio/system, and a few other little things.... im pretty sure his car has an alarm system, i guess it quit working i suppose....
just wanted to brag on GM's alarm system, at least for this time being,, saved several of my things,,, i don''t always leave my wallet in my car, but i did last night in the middle console, had over 300$, plus my bank card in there..

Whew!
Should be some way to have the car alarm page you or call the cellphone instead of honking the alarm. That way, you would have time to get your shotgun and go out there sneak up on them! Now THAT would be fun!!

One from years ago would acutally trip your power antenna and start broadcasting the alert on some FM band! I thought that would be cool, too.
I hate thieves as much as the next guy. I don't dig the idea that some lazy bastard feels it's perfectly ok to take my **** cause he wants it. There is something inherently wrong with that idea.
