High Idle
I have a 1992 LT1 and the idle is too high (it is a 6 spd). As I slow down and punch the clutch the idle is at 1300. Once the car is fully stopped the idle slowly settles down to about 900. The idle is also at about 1300 cold. Any hints as to what I should look for?

Check all your hoses and your intake coupler for holes i.e. vacuum leaks first. Then remove the TB from the plenum and clean it and the idle air controller (IAC) motor.
Read the TB removal/cleaning article in the C4 tech tips section on this Forum on how to do this. Should correct your problem. It did on mine.
