Default 1992-96 Adjustable Throttle Position Sensor Kit

Does anyone have this?

Is there really an advantage?

Here is what is in the ad:
The TPS (throttle position sensor) is a variable resistor connected to the throttle shaft on the throttle body. When the accelerator pedal moves, the TPS sends a signal to the computer. The computer calculates the fuel delivery and the air being consumed based on the throttle valve angle. Our adjustable TPS lets you fine-tune your Corvette's throttle response for maximum performance by changing the voltage of the sensor. The stock TPS is preset and cannot be adjusted. Out-of-adjustment TPS's can cause erratic idle, stumbling, surging and overall poor engine performance. The TPS kit includes the sensor, replacement connector/terminals, test jumper adjustment tool and instructions

Do you have idle or surging issues?
Some might use it because they are not seeing 100% (99%) TPS at WOT.
I slotted the holes on my '92 because my aftermarket 58mm throttle body needed to be 'lowered' at idle.
Some tuners/experts like the TPS to read between .60 to .70 volts at idle, others like to set it down in the mid .50s, depending on the application/engine mods.
You should scan your TPS volts, throttle angle %, and RPMs to confirm if you need adjustment to the TPS position. Anything under .70 volts, at 0% angle, at your DESIRED idle, is generally considered normal.

I doubt it will do anything. On cars with self calibrating TPS like mine there is no adjustments like the earlier cars.I think the ECM uses the voltage it sees as a basline.

I think the voltage is set at 50 or 60 at idle and 406 at wide open throttle.
All that device does is tell the computer it's at full throttle sooner than it realy is.
Seat of the pants feel.

The LT1's don't benifit from a higher idle VDC the same as the older TPI systems. If you are not throwing a code and your ECM is seeing 0 TPS and 100% TPS then it will do nothing. When I installed my 58mm I had to make mine adjustable to get my idle VDC up from .3 so I modified my stock unit. You can oblong the holes on te stock unit with a dremil in about 2 min.
