This post came up in another thread
Needless to say, I gave them a call right away.
The manufacturer

The Ebay Store

They also sell through retailers.
I just got off the phone with them.
They have a tapered bearing setup for the C4 rears
The front's they're still working on due to the ABS.
They also know about the trouble C5 owners have with thiers cracking.
I told them I've got a solution, and I'm going to talk to their engineer next week.

Burning Brakes
As I see it, they only have:
'97-'00 Front
'97-'09 Front
'84-'96 Rear
I need Fronts for a '90.
Frankly, they are cheaper than the price I was quoted for GM bearings from a Chevy dealer.

Some Manufacturer Info on GM / AC Delco Vette bearings.
Just purchased a pair of AC Delco FW115, GM# 12413041 wheel bearings. (Front for 86-90 Vettes)
Ended up contacting GM, because these did not look like previous GM Vette wheel bearings (they did not have the light grey plating or corrosion resistant coating). The short of it was that they are genuine GM bearings, and they claim that the steel that is used in these is sufficiently corrosion resistant that the plating is not needed.
The bearings are made by Kyklos Bearing International, in Ohio.

Melting Slicks
They aren't even close. The C4 bearing uses 4 bolts to hold it to the spindle, while the C5 uses only 3, thus the shape is completely different. Nothing is impossible, but it would take significant amounts of work to the spindle to make them fit.

So what are the current best deals for HPDE'ing? I tried several of the mentioned p/n's, but most of them are either discontinued or the price isn't cheap or whatnot. $65 rear wheel bearings would be really nice...
