Has anyone tried "Spintech Mufflers" on their corvette? I have heard it out flows, and performs (CFM) than any other muffler on the racing circuit! Thinking of putting a pair of Spintech "Pro" mufflers on my 92-6spd. What the real skinny......open for comments.
I am running them as well. I love mine. They are fairly loud but sound great. I am running dual 3" with a Dr.Gas X-pipe and no cats. I don't have any flow numbers, though. Has anyone here heard any flow numbers for them? By the way, mine are the XL series which are supposed to be their quietest ones. I get tons of compliments on them. :D
A lot of the circle track racers use them cuz they meet the noise level requirements with no loss of hp. Obviously the racing series are loud as hell. The design is to barely meet the 95 decibel w/no loss of power.
They have several other types of mufflers using the same general design, but in various sizes and noise levels.
I have a relatively large one on my suburban (w/hi flow cat and headers) and it sounds great and is not very loud except at WOT.
They are built very solid and work good - don't know if they have one to fit vettes, but they are nice people and will help you if you call them.
