LT1/LT4 air filters the same ?

I'm thinking about buying a k&N from a forum member who has a 96 LT4 and has the filter listed on the forum . I have a 91 l98 and according to the ordering page from madvet the 96 and the 91 Filters are the same .

I'm wondering if the 96 LT1 and LT4 have the same induction system to make sure that all 96's are the same so i can be sure it will fit mine .

All '96 air induction is identical (until you hit the intake).

Nope sad to say prouty's IGA closed about 10-12 years ago . It was the first of all the IGA's going out around here . I do love Swanton . I grew up in St.Albans about 8 mile south from here and bought in Swanton about 5 years ago . I can see me selling soon but will purchase in Swanton again . Are you from here ? My wife graduated from MVU maybe u know each other .
