Default Vert Question

I know this is a dumb question but keep in mind I am a new to C4s and don't have a owners manual for my '87 vert.

When putting the top up on a convertible, you push the rear pins into the rear deck sockets until you hear a click. Question is this: How do you release the pins from the sockets when you want to put the top back down???

There is a release lever on the underside of the storage compartment lid. On the later C4s such as my '94, it's directly behind the driver's seat headrest. If I recall correctly, on the earlier C4s, it's in the middle of the lid (centered between the two seats).

Be well,

On the front side of the rear deck, right between the seats there is a release lever.
